Fraudulent Perkasie First candidates scrub fb pages

It would appears the candidates of the fraudulent perkasie first slate have been directed to scrub their fb pages after some of the posts we found that show you their true character. Again trying to deceive the residents of perkasie borough. Even some of the posts we found and posted in previous blog posts are gone. They don’t want anyone to see how radical they are and what they plan to turn our community into. Don’t fall for it. Remember to come out on election day and send these individuals a message. Their radicalism is not wanted and wont be tolerated in our community.

Nothing but disruption and radicals in our community

Some may have seen the temper tantrum by the mentally ill folks that are trying to tear down communities all  over the country at the No. Kings rally in Lenape Park. Lots of qtip boomers living their glory days again like back in the 60’s still contributing nothing to society but standing with their hands out. Then you have the mentally ill millennial generation dressing in inflatable costumes as if that means anything other than they haven’t grown up and again contribute nothing to society. Usually they end up going no where like their parents. This is not who we need in our community. Take a look at this lunatic with her sign. This is mental illness at its finest. People like this do not deserve a seat at any table. Let’s send them a message as well as the radical fraudulent perkasie first candidates and the novice kyle esposito who has done nothing for our community who contributed to this event. This is not what perkasie stands for. Take that crap to a city where you might have an ear. These people deserve no quarter.

Meet Jaclyn cornelius

Jaclyn is also part of the fraudulent phony perkasie first slate parading around like she is so interested in the community. We see lots of affiliation to the No Kings agitators. Apparently she didn’t pay attention in history class. She also is a proponent of anti ice propaganda and seems to be in favor of apps that warn illegals about ice’s where abouts. That put’s our law enforcement trying to uphold our laws in jeopardy. Our nation is a nation of laws and we must enforce the immigration laws. If we don’t where does it stop. She also appears to be ok with students reading pornographic stuff in schools. She had an issue with book removals.  She also equates all Republicans to KKK. See post below. We don’t want or need people that wont represent everyone. See in a nutshell was jaclyn is all about. How could anyone with good conscience support and vote for someone with these values. Hasn’t our community seen enough of  the disruption of everyday lives? It’s time to stop this push from this group trying to take over our town.

Would the real fascists please stand up?

Some of you may recall a few elections ago Councilman Steve Rose trying to prevent someone from getting into the borough building to vote on election day because they were not wearing a mask. This person stated they had a medical exception which we know to be true. Guys like steve rose and his party cohorts like to throw around the term facism an awful lot. When one looks at the news and see’s where the violence is coming from its all the truth you need.

It seems Mr. Rose is friendly and possibly coaching this fraudulent slate of candidates using the Perkasie First name to deceive the residents of perkasie borough. Trotting out the next generation of new fascists we suppose.

Meet candidate Collin Garr who is pictured with Mr. Rose along with a fb post from a search of his profile. We hope this is not how he plans to govern. We certainly don’t need this kind of governing or direction in our town. Please be aware of who has moved in and it trying to take over the town government.  Also pictured with community agitator Kyle Esposito the man behind the theft.

Perkasie first frauds nothing but community agitators

Doing further research we have found a few of the fraud perkasie first slate are nothing more than community agitators that have a history of disrupting the community with false issues they create in their mind. It seems emma hawkins was in line with the students  that organized to have the parkland students come to Pennridge. This disrupted an tore the community up, cost taxpayers money for resources and where is that parkland group now? Nowhere to be found except david hogg who held a position in the DNC for a hot minute before his own party tossed this community terrorist out on his butt. These are the kinda of people the fraud perkasie first slate idolizes. Communities are tired of being disrupted, roads blocked not being able to get to work and go about your day. Tired of constant tearing down of communities. The country is fatigued on it and now cheering getting things back to normal and supporting the rule of law. So keep in mind when at the polls not to vote for these agitators who want to limit or take away your rights especially the 2A.

Meet Lilli Butler Benner the next liar

Lilli butler benner claims she didnt know anything about perkasie first when asked by her team used another PAC name. Here we have receipts. Lilli butler benner was actually a part of the real Perkasie First and almost became part of the original board. Receipts are a beautiful thing. Says a lot about Lilli character. If she is willing to deceive the residents of perkasie what else is she willing to do?

The big perkasie deception

From one of the candidates on the slate Collin Garr that i spoke to this afternoon to help him better understand what his community agitator friend Kyle Esposito has done to them. They still see this as a “misunderstanding” even though it was brought to their attention over a week ago and their community agitator stated he was changing the name over the weekend. So not only did they lie by Lillian Butler claiming she didn’t know anything about Perkasie First even though we showed receipts she was a part of it originally in 2009 when it was founded, they lied by using the perkasie first name to deceive the residents, and they lied about removing the name over the weekend. This whole slate of candidates are a bunch of liars and no good for perkasie. They cannot be trusted at their word they should not be trusted with council seats.

Those that know me know this is just starting. Please inform all your friends and neighbors. Let’s send a message.

Meet the 2nd thief

Meet the second 🐀 behind the theft of the Perkasie First Pac name trying to deceive residents. You may know Corey Armideo as the owner of PBR productions located right here in perkasie. You have to begin to wonder about people’s character. Being a business owner an being unethical doesnt match. Go ahead an share an let people know about Corey.  #pbrproductions

Meet the head thief

Meet Kyle Esposito the 🐀 who claims to be a strategic consultant in politics. One would think this weasel would know better than to steal another PAC name and that its unethical. Let’s give Kyle some attention. Please share this around an let @everyone know that they are liars an deceivers and thieves. Also if that is not bad enough he is very involved with disrupting quiet communties like ours with these No Kings rallies. It’s been 250 years now an we haven’t had a king. Tell Kyle to get a real job and stop disrupting communities. These agitators have no place in our communities.

Thieves!

THIEVES!

As to be expected with today's Democrats they are nothing but deceptive. In Perkasie Borough they have tried to deceive residents by using a name of a PAC established back in 2010. But why should we expect anything less. They don't have any of their own ideas. They just steal other people's. Don't fall for this farce. If they are willing to do this what else are they willing to do if they get elected. Lie cheat and steal. This is not the true Perkasie First that fought for residents in this small community for a better direction for all with no agenda other than to protect residents, lower utilities and keep the necessary services. We fought truly for the residents. We will reach far and wide to let people know of their misdeeds. We should not stand for this type of stuff in our community.

Reports of an OD at Menlo park in the bathroom?

We are hearing reports that there was an overdose at menlo park today 7/5/21 in the bathroom? If anyone can provide information please reach out to us.
You will recall our previous blog post regarding people openly using marijuana in the park in broad daylight. At what point will the borough council and Perkasie PD realize that there has been and continues to be a drug issue in town. It's been said for years now that people know perkasie is a place to set up shop to distribute or use drugs. Is this what we really want in out park system where kids are supposed be able to play and be safe to turn into? Remember the famous splash and first class pool party that brought upwards of almost 1000 people from philadelphia up for a party with drinking an drug use and near riot scene? Why does council not realize people come to use the community pool like a water park? It is for the tax payers who pay for it. Menlo is not an amusement or water park. Residents need to speak up and protect their town otherwise we have seen on the news day an night what it can turn into. Perkasie First

What do you get for your taxes?

Everyone remembers the summer of 2020 when we had several severe storms pop up and cause damage all over the east coast. A big discussion at that time was infrastructure and stormwater systems an designs. Government always trying to solve the problem when most of the time they are the problem. In this particular instance they absolutely are the cause and the problem. Residents know the borough does not take ownership of alley's between streets which many residents use for parking or rear access to their home. The paving in most alley's is not in good shape but to be expected. It's tough to get all residents of that particular alley to chip in. But what about the stormwater system? That is owned by Perkasie Borough. A few years back the public works department use to collect trash in the alley's which over time got to be an issue with residents not maintaining debris, tree limbs etc so the truck could get through. So the borough started picking up trash at the front of the properties. However years of the trash truck using the alley definitely caused damage as these alley's when paved are not to spec to handle large trucks. They maybe have 2" of asphalt on stone. Below you will see an inlet that has settled causing stormwater run off to go around the inlet and across residents properties. This is the results of that water not going into the storm inlet where it should. Council representatives were made aware of the issue an we were told that it would be fixed properly. Count down almost a year later from Aug 4 2020 to now this was the public works directors solution. We expected better since his former career was many years with a well named outfit in the area H&K.
By winter time the cold patch will be down the end of the alley but even more importantly here is an updated video with the stormwater runoff still doing the same thing it did originally. So why did it take almost a year to do just this? So we ask again who is running your town and what do we get for the tax dollars we pay? Eroded yards? Flooded homes? Who is steering the ship? This is what failure at all levels in our local government looks like folks. Perkasie First

Reefer madness!

The last two years we have heard from parents that utilize menlo park with their children that there has been an issue with people openly smoking cannabis while at the park or at menlo pool in the parking lot. Tonight Borough council stated there have been a lot of festivals in menlo park this year. We questioned in public forum if any were cannabis festivals. Council and the solictor seemed puzzled. That's probably because most council members live on the outskirts of the borough and rarely ever come into the heart of town. The problem was brought to their attention with the Perkasie Police Chief in the room. We have no issues with what people do on their own time. But using cannabis in a kids park is unacceptable. It was asked if there is an ordinance or does the law prevent people from doing this on Borough property. They advised that was a law enforcement question. No words from Chief Shurr. People in society do not call on police anymore due to the amount of time it takes for them to get on location to a call. They would actively catch more crime if active patrolling was done. By the time they get on location that person most likely would be done toking. If residents are seeing this openly the question is why aren't the police? People must feel comfortable enough doing things like this in the open without fear of repurcussions. Unfortunatley Perkasie Borough has had that reputation for a while. It's all about what makes them feel good and what gets their name on plaque. Not about representing the residents and keeping a safe and clean community. If we don't have a safe an clean park for our kids what does that say about our community? Perkasie First

If you really want to know what council thinks of the residents have a look.

This is 2nd ward councilman Steven Rose talking to a resident at the polls last November. The CDC guidelines and rules put out by the bucks county board of elections was if someone had a medical reason or disability they did not have to wear a mask. Mr. Rose took it upon himself  to make the rules and try to intimidate a resident who has a medical reason for not wearing a mask and was told so. The Judge of elections was apparently not made aware of the confrontation and intimidation tactic out front of borough hall. It’s not likely anything would have been done since the judge doesn’t even follow election laws herself. More on that incident in the near future. Bottom line this gentlemen does not deserve to be re elected since he doesn’t seem to want to represent all of the people of his ward just the ones that fit his political agenda. Residents should pay attention to these people that are running your town. Council president Jim Ryder and vice president Jim Purcell were made aware of Mr Rose using his council position and abusing his power. Nothing was done so we can only assume they agree with his intimidation tactics against residents.

Be sure to share these posts with family, friends, neighbors to help them stay informed.

Back to business as usual.....

Well it appears borough council and the administration is back to business as usual. The public stays in the dark as to the happenings in their town. Meeting minutes haven’t been uploaded in a few months now for public view. The open meetings law requires meeting minutes to be taken for each meeting and posted for public view. We will look further if a specified timeline is required. Most other municipalities have no problem keeping these records up to date for their residents. Perkasie borough on the other hand does what it wants.

Another issue that has been ongoing in the borough which is an unsolved issue still is on S 3rd and S 4th street. A traffic study was done as multiple residents showed up to a council meeting before the lockdown to express frustration for the amount of traffic and speeds on a secondary road due to people using it as a raceway, we mean cut through, to avoid a traffic light at Walnut and 5th street. Council in usual fashion appeared interested in the issue while having residents in front of them. The study showed over a two week period the volume of vehicles being 45,000 +!!!!!!!! This is a small secondary road in the borough. The borough council and administrations recommendation was to put up no truck traffic signs? No one that we are aware of complained about truck traffic. It was the volume of vehicles and speeds. But hey they represented the people and sprung into action right? Residents while pulling out in front of their residence have had vehicles plow into them, people have had mirrors taken off etc etc. Here we are over a year later and still nothing has been done and those no truck signs? Yea there are still large trucks passing through. Like everything else without enforcement and penalty no one will think twice. The Borough is always quick to pay a lawyer to draft up ordinances that they have no intention of enforcing anyway.

Ladies and gentlemen let’s call this what it is. Taxation without representation. But we should not expect anything less from our representatives that open their borough packets 15 minutes before the meeting to read what they intend to vote on that evening .

It’s time for a fresh start and new council members that are willing to put the time in that is required to do the job.  What we have seen so far are the next in line from the political parties that want to do the bidding of the party instead of the residents they serve.

Stay tuned we have other matters we will bring forth as we continue to look out for the residents. Remember when Perkasie was quiet and peaceful before it was built up with subdivisions and building on any open piece of land?  Increased traffic, crime and wear and tear on our infrastructure. It has been proven before strength in numbers. It can easily be proven again.

How long before we get the bill?

Back in 2014-2015 many will remember when going to the Borough Hall seeing chunks of the cornice and roof falling onto the sidewalk. At that time a contractor was hired to come in and remove the cornice and assess the situation. Borough council stated at a public meeting that testing was done to determine how severe the damage was. Since that point the building has been sitting.

Council claims the cornice area was sealed but it has sat through 4 winters now with no repair. So the question is when will we the taxpayers be getting the bill for the costly repairs? Better yet will we foot an even bigger bill for a new building since they seem to be letting this one sit in disrepair? Either way the taxpayer pays. Why has council been silent on this?

This was brought up in public forum by a resident when they were charging ahead with spending over 200K the first time for a street sweeper and then 80k the most recent time which was a used machine with no maintenance records or warranty??!!! After that they spent 177k last year to redo the concrete retaining wall and parking lot out back of the building but no funds to fix the roof. Keep in mind this building was renovated in 2002-2003.

Bottom line the residents will foot the bill the question is how much is it going to be? Maybe council should spend less time creating a historic committee to tell people what to do with their buildings and fix their own first.

Until then we suggest wearing a hardhat when walking around borough hall.

People of Perkasie it's been a while! We have not stopped watching out for the taxpayer even though we have not been very active on the blog. It appears we need citizen involvement again in the decision making and direction of our town.

We have 4 candidates up for election on Borough council in 2019. Now is the time to start getting involved. If you or anyone you know is interested in serving your community please have them contact us. We have 1 seat that will be up for election in Ward 1, 2 seats in Ward 2 and 1 seat in Ward 3. If you are not sure what ward you are in please see the link below for the Borough voting ward map.

Stay tuned for future blog posting about some of the things we are seeing happen in our town.

Perkasie Borough starts walking down the same dead end road again

Leaders of 2 borough churches are petitioning Council for special electric rates.  Nonprofits request lower electricity rate in Perkasie Borough

We'll see if Council learned from their previous Sunshine Law violation that it can't discuss giving preferential treatment to any person, business, or organization in private.

Our town churches should allow Jesus to be their Light and not try to use government to force people to subsidize their collection plates.  Next time you attend a service you may consider dropping an LED light bulb in their collection plate.

Perkasie Residents approve increase in fire tax

In a referendum on the Nov 4, 2014 ballot Perkasie residents voted 1449-855 to approve a resolution as follows:
“Shall Perkasie Borough Council levy an additional real estate tax of 0.5 mills for the purpose of funding fire department services in the Borough? YES or NO”

Plain English Statement: The ballot question asks the voters of Perkasie Borough whether the Borough Council should assess an additional tax of 0.5 mills, bringing the total fire services tax to 1.5 mills for the purpose of funding fire and rescue services within Perkasie Borough.

A vote of YES approves the levying of an additional real estate tax of 0.5 mills for this purpose.
Prior to 2005 there was no fire tax which begs the question "what has changed"?

When the fire company first approached Borough Council it was under the guise of funding a replacement vehicle, when it was pointed out that the current 1 mil of tax was funding a new vehicle that was going to be paid off within the next year a laundry list of "wishes" was produced by the fire company including a $52,000 suspended ceiling for the apparatus room, a $75,000 sprinkler system, a $55,000 walk-in cooler room, a $38,000 electronic entry system, and a $15,000 sign.  How exactly do these items intend to help our fire company protect the community?

The fire company held a public forum on August 14 to talk about the funding needs that was attended by a handful of residents at best.  They then held their annual open house on October 9th which was well attended- without any mention of the tax referendum and no opportunity to donate- not even a bucket!  Then on October 25 they held another open house to answer questions about the fire tax that had exactly 1 person attend- the mayor!  Why they did not take advantage of the traffic on their well-attended annual open house to raise awareness or funds defies logic.

Perkasie First fully supports our all-volunteer fire company.  Sadly, it appears that the "voluntary" portion does not apply to funding, and there is a desperate lack of outside the box thinking.  We encourage community members to get involved to help the fire company provide the outstanding service it does without resorting to more taxes to pay for it.  Educate the community on your needs and ask for help, as the Police Department has proven with their K-9 program the community is more than willing to step forward when asked to help and there are generous people with the means to do so.   After all- who knows how to spend your own money better than you do?

Other People's Money?

As 2015 Perkasie Borough budget discussions continue here are a few things that residents may be interested in:

  • There is a $700,000 (or is it $800,000?) surplus in the general fund above and beyond the level that was voted on by a previous council to be in reserves.   This is essentially an "overpayment" that electric customers have paid over the past few years.  The question is will this money be returned to the people who have dealt with the 66% rate increase, or will it be spent?  Every $100K is an opportunity for a 1% reduction in electric rates- so borough residents and businesses could see a 7-8% rate reduction next year in electric costs.
  • There are plans to hire 3 more borough employees.  Is this really necessary?
  • Borough officials have claimed to have "cut" almost $1,000,000 in spending from the budget so far...but this is mostly the "wishlist" items of department heads and therefore not really cuts.   These include electric "smart meters" and a $275,000 street sweeper- that incidentally is being demonstrated at public works this morning (9/30/14) even though it has been cut from the budget (see below pic)
  • The borough trash fee could double next year from $12 to $22 as less bags are sold.  The idea has been floated to give borough residents an option of having a toter but this idea received resistance from councilperson Florence Frei (215-257-7054) and Mayor John Hollenbach (215-257-7617) who prefer things stay as they are and not change with the times.
The next budget meeting is Saturday October 4th at 9am at the Borough building at Chestnut & 7th Street.  Will council treat your electric bill (tax) as they would their own money, or is it simply "Other People's Money"?    Do you want your electric rates to go down, or let the Borough keep spending your hard earned money?  You need to demand it.

The $275,000 street sweeper demonstrated at Public Works- will it stay on the cutting room floor or will it sweep more of your electric bill every month?
